Andrew Song joins HikoTerra
We’re excited to welcome Andrew Song to HikoTerra!
Andrew joins us from ZURU as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, bringing valuable experience to our growing team. He will play a key role as we wrap up the H4 project and transition into production over the coming months.
His addition also gives us the capacity to accelerate development across our exciting product roadmap.
Another important role filled as we continue to expand the team and make progress in our mission to innovate and disrupt in the power electronics market.
Alastair is a full‑stack software engineer with over 20 years of experience in marine electronic product development, spanning vessel power management, integrated vessel systems, and marine navigation. His background includes key engineering roles at Navico, BEP, and CZone.

We’re excited to announce that HikoTerra is relocating to a new home at 17D Pollen Street, Grey Lynn, right in the heart of Auckland’s creative and technology district. This move marks a major milestone as we continue to grow our team, expand our R&D capabilities, and accelerate development of our next‑generation power systems.
Our new space gives us room to innovate, collaborate, and scale—bringing engineering, testing, and product development together under one roof. It also places us closer to partners, customers, and the broader clean‑tech community.
