Chris is one of New Zealand’s most accomplished, respected and skilled engineers, holding multiple patents and having served as Chief Engineer at Navman. His work has led to the development of systems that are smaller, lighter, and more efficient than existing market solutions.

As the principal of Tahia Investments, Sir Peter is a significant shareholder and director of HikoTerra. He has successfully founded and developed several leading technology companies in New Zealand, including Navman, Fusion, and Invenco.

John is a seasoned and accomplished leader in the marine and technology sectors, with extensive global experience. He previously served as the CEO of Invenco, a company specializing in self-service payment technology. Before that, he spent 14 years in executive roles at Navico, one of the world's largest marine electronics companies.

Matthew Gibson is an experienced financial leader with over 15 years of expertise in driving financial performance and leading transformative growth. Matt has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results and has successfully led high-performing finance teams. Matt has significant experience in M&A having led the trade sale of Invenco Group.

With 20 years of service at Navico Group in various roles, Mark brings extensive experience in Product Management, Digital Product Ownership, Sales & Marketing, and go-to-market strategies. He also has significant insight into the marine market and holds multiple marine patents.

Matt is a seasoned marine industry expert with over 20 years of experience in sales channel development, OEM product integration, and international business expansion. Matt has played a pivotal role in launching and expanding the market presence of major marine brands including Navman, Fusion Entertainment and Propspeed.

Edward joined Power Concepts in 2012, bringing with him extensive experience from heavy industry, wireless power electronics, and lean startups. He excels at making things work, whether it's embedded firmware, remote work network infrastructure, or variable speed drives. His long-standing obsession with Electric Vehicle technology has provided him with deep knowledge and expertise in Battery Management Systems.

Chris is a dedicated Project Manager in the marine industry with extensive experience in marine consumer products and propulsion systems. He oversees projects from concept to completion, ensuring innovative, high-quality solutions that meet industry standards. With a strong focus on efficiency and performance, Chris is committed to delivering products that enhance the marine experience.

Mike has broad experience with new product development, R&D and product testing in high-volume electronics manufacturing. He brings a valuable focus on design for manufacture, assembly and servicing. He also brings specialist knowledge in marine lithium battery systems, harsh environments and thermal analysis.

Brett is a self-motivated and creative engineer with a strong foundation in electronic engineering. He comes to us from WiTricity, a MIT spin-off specializing in wireless power transfer technologies, and has previously worked at Aroa Biosurgery and F&P Healthcare. Brett holds a BE (First Class Honours) and an ME (Distinction) in Electronic and Computer Systems from Victoria University.

Liz has a background in research, business analysis and process improvement. She has held positions in the private and public sectors and NGOs. She has also worked with Power Concepts since it was established.

Matthew is currently a student at Auckland University of Technology working towards his BE in Mechatronics and will be working on a project to develop the system monitoring capabilities of our integrated power system.

Leon is currently a student at the University Of Auckland competing a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Leon will carry out a thermal investigation of the 10kW Inverter module, a key component of PCNZL’s an innovative integrated hybrid power system.
